Admission Information

The examination for the degree of M.Chem. Engg. will be held in two phases; (1) a theory examination and (ii) a thesis. A 5% concession in the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination for admission will be granted to the candidate belonging to reserved category, with domicile in the State of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Requirement

Any person who has passed the examination for the degree B.Chem. Engg. of this University or an examination of another University recognized as equivalent thereto which is a four year degree course after HSC, with first class (60% and above or equivalent grade average) may be admitted to the M.Chem. Engineering course partly by papers and partly by thesis. A person who has passed the entrance examination viz. GATE examination with a valid score will be given preference for admission to M.Chem. Engg. degree course. The person with a valid GATE score and admitted to M.Chem. Engg. Degree course will be eligible for the award of UGC fellowship. The examination for the degree of M.Chem.
