F = 20 kgf = 20 × 10 N = 200 N
Displacement S = 1 m
Work done
- When displacement is in the direction of force
W = F × S
W = 200 × 1 = 200 J - When displacement is at an angle of 60°
W = F.S cos 60°
= 200 × 1 × `1/2`
= 100 J - When displacement is normal to the direction of force
W = F.S cos 90°
= 200 × 1 × 0
= 0 (Zero)
