q = 8 (1.6 × 10−19 C)

Initial kE, KEi = `1.2` mu2 = 0

∴ Δ KE = KEf − KEi = KEf

Δ KE = qV

∴ The final KE, KEf = qV

= (8 × 1.6 × 10−19 C)(9000 V)

= 72 ×1.6 × 10−16 J

= `(72 xx 1.6 xx 10^-16)/(1.6 xx 10^-19)`eV

= 72 × 103 eV

= 72 keV
