Then, SP = `x+15/100x=(23x)/20`

If its cost had been 5% less then CP

= `x-x xx5/100=(19x)/20`

and SP = `(23x)/20-21`

∴ Profit % = `((23/20x-21)-(19x)/20)/((19x)/20)xx100`

⇒ `10xx(19x)/20xx1/100=(4x)/20-21`

⇒ `(19x)/200-(4x)/20=-21`

⇒ `-21/200x=-21`

⇒ `x=(21xx200)/21`
