- Environmental Education makes students more conscious about rapid environmental degradation.
- It makes them understand the severity of the problem and its implications on the future.
- It makes them realise that it's high time that they should take serious steps to protect mother nature
- It encourages them to come up with various measures on a personal level for protecting environment. e.g. reducing the use of plastic, engaging in afforestation activities, insisting parents to properly dispose waste at home etc.
- It also enables them to understand the importance of sustainable development.
- In short, Environmental Education is the need of an hour and would aid in protection of the environment.
