Who are delinquents?

Delinquents are adolescents who engage in violent and anti-social behavior and have ‘ a “rule-breaking” tendency. It is associated with various interacting risk factors like ineffective parenting, school failure, peer or neighborhood pressures, low social-economic status. The children may get pay off for such anti-social behavior. However, most delinquents do not become adult criminals.
