The biosphere is the global sum of all ecosystems. It can also be termed as a zone of life on earth. The biosphere is the global ecological system integrating all living beings and their relationships including their interaction with elements of the lithosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere.
Biotic components of the biosphere constitute all the living members of an ecosystem i.e. producers, consumers and decomposers. The different biotic components are connected through food.
Abiotic components on the other hand are the non-living chemical and physical parts of the ecosystem like air, water, sunlight etc.
