3 Ω and 2 Ω form a series of resistances.

∴ r₁ = 3 + 2 

r₁ = 5 Ω

8 Ω and 4 Ω are in series

Their result and resistance r₂ = 6 + 4 = 10 Ω

Now r₁ 30 Ω and r₂ are in parallel

∴ `1/ "R"_"p" = 1/r_1 + 1/30 + 1/r_2`

= `1/5 + 1/30 + 1/10`

= `(6 + 1 + 3)/30`

= `10/30 = "R"_"p" = 30/10`

∴ R_p = 3 Ω
