There have been various ideas for UNSC reform:

1. There is a need to add more permanent and non-permanent members to the UNSC.
2. The new permanent and non-permanent members should represent the Asian, African, and South American continents. It should meet the needs and aspirations of both third and first world countries.
3. In addition, we should give the new permanent members veto authority. Otherwise, the new permanent members would be powerless.
4. The veto power itself will disappear if the current permanent members refuse to transfer it to the new permanent members.
