Deforestation also has a huge impact on the environment. Due to the felling of trees, the soil becomes loose, and the amount of carbon dioxide starts increasing in the atmosphere, which leads to the emission of greenhouse gases. The water holding capacity of the soil starts decreasing, due to which the risk of floods increases. As a result, other properties of the soil, such as nutrients, texture, etc., are affected in the entire forest.
