प्रश्न
Discuss the nature of the roots of the following quadratic equations : `2sqrt(3)x^2 - 5x + sqrt(3)` = 0
उत्तर
`2sqrt(3)x^2 - 5x + sqrt(3)` = 0
Here `a = 2sqrt(3), b = -5, c = sqrt(3)`
∴ D = b2 - 4ac
= `(-5)^2 - 4 xx 2sqrt(3) xx sqrt(3)`
= 25 - 24
= 1
∵ D > 0
∴ Roots are real and distinct.
