प्रश्न
Enlist the names and locations of valves of human heart giving function of each.
संक्षेप में उत्तर
उत्तर
The various valves in the human heart are:
Thebasian valve, Tricuspid valve, Bicuspid valve, and Semilunar valves are all types of valves.
- Eustachian valve: The Eustachian valve protects the opening of the postcaval (inferior vena cava). During atrial contraction, it blocks blood from flowing backward from the right atrium to the inferior vena cava.
- Thebasian valve: It protects the entrance of the coronary sinus into the right atrium. During atrial contraction, it prevents blood from flowing backward from the right atrium to the coronary sinus.
- Tricuspid valve: It is found in the right ventricle and stops blood from flowing backward from the right ventricle to the right atrium during ventricular contraction.
- Bicuspid valve: It can be found in the ventricular opening of the left atria. During ventricular contraction, it depicts the backflow of blood from the left ventricle to the left atrium.
- Semilunar valves: These are found at the base of the pulmonary and body aortas. They protect the right and left ventricular apertures into the pulmonary and body aortas, respectively. They stop the reverse flow.
