उत्तर

The angle between any two consecutive numbers of a clock is `(360°)/12` = 30°.

If the minute-hand is at 2 and hour-hand is at 10, angle between them is (4 × 30°) = 120°.

But at 10 past ten, i.e., at 10 : 10, the hour-hand has moved 10 minutes towards 11.

In 60 minutes, the hour-hand covers 30°.

In 10 minutes, hour hand covers `((10 xx 30)/60)^circ` = 5°

∴ The angle between the two hands of the clock at ten past ten = 120° – 5° = 115°.
