प्रश्न
Find the common difference of an A.P. whose nth term is given by an = 6n – 5.
उत्तर
Given, nth term of A.P. is an = 6n – 5
For n = 1, a1 = 6(1) – 5 = 1
n = 2, a2 = 6(2) – 5 = 7
∴ Common difference,
d = a2 – a1
= 7 – 1
= 6
