80% and 80%

योग

उत्तर

Successive discounts = 80% and 80%

Let M.P. = ₹100

Then S.P. after two discounts

`=₹(100(100-80)xx(100-80))/(100xx100)`

`=(100xx20xx20)/(100xx100)=₹4`

∴ Total discount = ₹100 − 4 = ₹96

∴ Single discount = 96%
