Give an example of an autosomal recessive trait in humans. Explain its pattern of inheritance with the help of a cross.
उत्तर
Sickle cell anaemia is an example of autosomal recessive trait in humans. The genes responsible for this disease are located on autosomes. People with a single defective copy of the gene are clinically normal; however, they can pass on this defective gene to their subsequent generations.
