Due to migration, several problems arise in the city.

2. Migration also badly affects agriculture in the peripheral regions as a large chunk of agricultural land is used for non-agricultural purposes such as housing.
3. In addition, prices of land increase tremendously. Lack of housing leads to increase in the occurrence of slums.
4. Economic inequality also rises in such cities, which may lead to an increase in crime rates.

This shows that several problems arise in the city on account of migration.
