Plantation agriculture is mainly confined to the southern parts of the Western Ghats.

3. The southern parts of the Western Ghats have a longer rainy season and moderately sloping hill region, which are well suited to plantation crops like tea and coffee. So, plantation agriculture is mainly confined to the southern parts of the Western Ghats.
