A = {x : ∈ N :< 6}
B = {3, 6, 9}
C = {x ∈ N : 2x - 5 ≤ 8}
2x - 5 ≤ 8
⇒ 2x ≤ 8+5
⇒ 2x ≤ 13
⇒ x ≤ `13/2`
⇒ x ≤ 6.5
∴ C = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
B ∩ C = {3, 6, 9} ∩ {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
= {3,6}
∴ A ∪ (B ∩ C) = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} ∪ {3,6}
= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
A ∪ B = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} ∪ {3, 6, 9}
= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9}
A ∪ C = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} ∪ {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
∴ (A ∪ B) ∩ (A ∪ C)
= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9} ∩ {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
∴ A ∪ (B ∩ C) = (A ∪ B) ∩ (A ∪ C)
