How does a desert plant adapt to the dry, warmer environmental conditions ?

In order to cope up with dry, warmer environmental conditions, a desert plant adapts itself in the following ways:
- It has has thick cuticle on its leaf surface and the stomata are arranged in deep pits to reduce water loss.
- Its special photosynthetic pathway, Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM), enables its stomata to remain closed during day time.
- Its leaves are reduced to spines, and photosynthesis is carried out via flattened stems.
