This disease is caused by the intestinal parasite Ascaris. The symptoms of this disease are internal bleeding, muscle pain, fever, anemia, intestinal obstruction, etc. The eggs of this parasite come out with the faeces of the infected person and contaminate soil, water, plants, etc. Infection in a healthy person occurs through contaminated water, vegetables, fruits, air, etc. This causes diseases like anemia, diarrhoea, appendicitis, etc. Sometimes, the larvae of Ascaris get contaminated and reach various organs and cause damage.
