Aerial photographs are taken from the camera kept in an airplane or helicopter. These are taken from the aerial camera which is a precision camera specifically designed for use in aircraft. It makes use of Aerial Film which is a roll film with high sensitivity, high intrinsic resolution power, and dimensionally stable emulsion support. Therefore we can say that aerial photography is an art, science, and technology of taking aerial photographs from an air-bome platform.
