प्रश्न
How many bricks of length 25 cm, breadth 15 cm and height 10 cm are required to build a wall of length 6 m, height 2.5 m and breadth 0.5 m?
उत्तर
For brick,
Length(l) = 25 cm
Breadth(b) = 15 cm
Height (h) = 10 cm
For wall,
Length(l1) = 6 m = 600 cm
Breadth(b1) = 0.5 m = 50 cm
Height (h1) = 2.5 m = 250 cm
Number of bricks required to build the wall = `"Volume of the wall"/"Volume of the bricks"`
= `(l_1 xx b_1 xx h_1)/(l xx b xx h)`
= `(600 xx 50 xx 250)/(25 xx 15 xx 10)`
= `(600 xx 250)/(25 xx 3)`
= 200 × 10
= 2000
The number of brick required to build the wall is 2000 bricks.
