In a single throw of a dice, find the probability of getting a number less than or equal to 4.

उत्तर

Sample space = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}

n(s) = 6

E = event of getting a number less than or equal to 4 = {1, 2, 3, 4}

n(E) = 4

Probabitity of a number less than or equal to 4 = `(n(E))/(n(s)) = 4/6 = 2/3`

1) Event A : to get at least one head.
2) Event B : to get no head.
Activity : If two coins are tossed simultaneously
∴ s =  {`square , "HT","TH", square`}
