∠g = ∠a     ...(Alternate exterior angles)

⇒ ∠g = 80^∘

Since ∠g and ∠f are forming a linear pair, then

∠f + ∠g = 180^∘    ...(Angles in a linear pair are supplementary)

⇒ ∠f = 180^∘ − ∠g

⇒ ∠f = 180^∘ − 80^∘ 

⇒ ∠f = 100^∘

Hence, the values of f and g are 100^∘ and 80^∘ respectively.
