संक्षेप में उत्तर
उत्तर
The Faults committed by a player at the time of playing the ball are:
- Four Hits: A team hits the ball four times before returning it.
- Assisted Hit: A player takes support from a teammate or any structure/object in order to reach the ball within the playing area.
- A catch: The ball is caught and/or thrown, it does not rebound from the hit.
- Double Contact: A player hits the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts various parts of his body in succession.
- A Double Fault: If, simultaneous hits by two opponents over the net lead to a 'catch' it is a 'double fault' and the rally is replayed.
- Illegal Contact: If two opponents hold up the ball simultaneously over the net both commit a fault at the same time.
- Held Ball: If visibly a player contact the ball more than once in succession without any other player having touched it between these contacts, he commits a fault.
