3. Some High Yielding Variety crops are highly susceptible to pests. The right quantity of pesticides is required to overcome this problem.
4. The aim of High Yielding Variety crops is to produce more number of crops one after another in quick succession from the same piece of land. As, once a particular crop is harvested another one is planted, the land never gets any time to recover.
