A Little Bird’s Gratitude
A little boy named Sam was walking through the park one lovely afternoon when he noticed a slight chirping noise. He followed the sound out of curiosity and discovered a little bird with a damaged wing struggling on the ground. Sam took the bird, feeling sorry for it, and carried it home.
He constructed a little splint for the bird's wing, gave it bread crumbs and water, and carefully treated the bird's wounds at home. Sam cared for the bird every day till it recovered its health. After the bird gained the strength to fly, Sam let it return to the wild and smiled as it took off.
A few weeks later, Sam was caught in an intense rainfall while playing outside. He was struggling to locate cover when he saw several birds flying overhead. To his surprise, the small bird he had previously rescued came and guided him to a nearby tree with dense branches so he could keep dry. Sam understood that he had developed a relationship with the bird as a result of his act of kindness, demonstrating that even animals express thanks in unique ways.
Moral: Kindness to animals is always rewarded in unexpected ways.
