(a) The style of leadership that is being followed by Sandhya is Democratic style. This is because Sandhya allows her team members to set their own objectives and take their own decisions.
(b) The two positive aspects of informal communication that are being discussed are:
- Through informal communication, the information flows faster and the employees are able to develop interpersonal and social relations among themselves, which in turn induces a feeling of belongingness towards the organisation.
- Informal communication also helps in divulging the true response of employees on certain matters such as a policy change or while taking organisational decisions.
