प्रश्न
How do minerals occur in sedimentary rocks?
उत्तर
Minerals occur in sedimentary rocks in the form of beds or layers. These rocks are formed by deposition, accumulation and concentration in a horizontal strata. The minerals in these rocks are formed by the process of precipitation or through chemical, physical and biological changes in sediments. While coal and iron ore are formed due to heat and pressure, gypsum, potash and salts are formed due to evaporation.
