If the die is rolled once, find the probability of - ‘A’ appears on upper face.

उत्तर

Total number of faces = 6
Number of faces having A = 2
Therefore, required probability = `\text { Number of faces having A}/text { Total number of faces}`

`=2/6`

`=1/3`

Hence, the probability that ‘A’ appears on upper face is`=1/3`.
