`(3x)/5`=15
⇒ `(3x)/5`×5=15×5 [Multiplying both the sides by 5]
⇒ 3x = 75
⇒ `(3x)/3=75/3`

Substituting x = 25 in the L.H.S.
⇒ `(3×25)/5` = 15 = R.H.S.
⇒ L.H.S. = R.H.S.
