प्रश्न
“Specialization of labour helps the producers in their productive activities and is also beneficial to the workers". Justify the statement with two suitable reasons.
उत्तर
Two reasons for justifying the stated statement:
- For Producers:
- Less Cost of Production: It encourages production on a large-scale. Consequently, many economies or benefits of large-scale production begin to emerge which thereby reduce the cost of production. It also encourages the use of specialised machinery which leads to an increase in productivity.
- Quick Production: When workers specialize, they can perform their tasks faster because they become more proficient with practice. This speed increases the overall rate of production, enabling producers to meet market demands more quickly and potentially gain a competitive advantage.
- For Workers:
- Saves Time and Money: Division of labour saves both time and tools. It reduces the time period required for completing the work. Likewise, there is better use of tools and implements. For example, it is not necessary to provide each worker with a complete set of tools. He can be given only those tools that he requires.
- Right Man at the Right Job: Since work is divided into a number of parts or sub-parts, each worker can be given a job according to his taste and preference.
