While other roles lay the stage for action, directing starts the organization's process.
2. Directing takes place at every level of management: The role of directing is carried out by all managers, from senior executives to supervisors. Anywhere there are superior-subordinate relationships, directing occurs.
3. Directing is a continuous process: The act of directing is ongoing. It occurs at every stage of the organization's existence, regardless of who holds managerial roles. The guiding process continues even though companies like Infosys, Tata, BHEL, HLL, and their management may change since organizational activities cannot proceed without direction.
