True Friendship: A Test of Time Rahul and Aman had been friends since they were kids. They played together, went to the same school, and talked about everything. Everyone appreciated how well they got along. One day, their school introduced a sports competition between schools. Aman did well in school but wasn't very active, while Rahul was a great sprinter. Aman offered to help Rahul in any way he could after seeing how excited he was. Rahul worked out every day because he wanted to win the gold title. A week before the race, though, he hurt his ankle while riding and had to miss the event. The doctor told him to take it easy for at least two weeks, so he couldn't run in the race. Rahul was very sad. Aman chose to do something amazing when he saw how upset his friend was. He knew Rahul's dream had always been to win the race. So, Aman started running every day and night, even though he wasn't very good at it. He looked at how Rahul ran, got advice from their teacher, and pushed himself to the limit. Aman ran in the race on Rahul's behalf on the day of the competition. He gave it his all and got second place by being brave and determined. He didn't win the gold, but his best friend loved and respected him, which was even more important. Rahul was deeply moved by Aman’s selfless efforts. He hugged Aman and said, “You are the true meaning of a friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed.” Their relationship got even stronger after that day, showing that real friends are always there for each other when they need help.
