Individuals with life skills are able to respond positively and adaptively to the demands and obstacles of daily life. Below is a description of them.

  1. Assertiveness: It is the behaviour or ability that enables us to speak clearly and confidently about our needs, wants, and thoughts. It's the capacity to decline an invitation, voice opinions in an unabashed manner, or speak honestly about feelings like love and rage.
  2. Time Management: Time management helps us organise our lives, reduce stress, and live a balanced life. Knowing how to split obligations and organise life might assist relieve pressure.
  3. Rational Thinking: To do this, we must confront our flawed thinking and erroneous ideas, push aside potentially invasive, unsettling negative thoughts, and make encouraging words.
  4. Overcoming unhelpful Habits: People who are perfectionists struggle to relax and are harsh on both themselves and other people. They want everything to be flawless. Avoidance entails putting the problem on hold and refusing to accept or confront it. When we procrastinate, the task at hand is put off and finished an hour later. By purposefully avoiding them, it is to avoid and confront worries of failing or being rejected.
  5. Self care: Environmental stressors such as noise pollution, lack of space, colour, and so on have an impact on our mood. Our breathing patterns mirror our emotional condition. When we are stressed, we tend to breathe quickly and shallowly. Slow and gut-centered. Stress can be relieved by breathing from the diaphragm. These have a noticeable impact on our ability to deal with stress and maintain our well-being.
