प्रश्न
What are conductors and insulators of electricity? Give two examples of each.
Write short notes on conductors and insulators.
उत्तर १
The substances which allow electric current to flow through them easily are called conductors. Examples: Impure water and metals.
The substances which do not allow the electric current to flow through them are called insulators. Examples: Rubber and wood.
उत्तर २
- Conductors:
The rate of flow of electric charges in a circuit is called electric current. The materials which allow electric charges to pass through them are called conductors.
Examples: Copper, iron, aluminum, impure water, earth, etc.
- Iniulaton (Non-Conductors):
The materials which do not allow electric charges to pass through them are called insulators or non-conductors. Examples: plastic, glass, wood, rubber, china clay, ebonite, etc.
