Isotopes: “Atoms of the same element having same atomic number, different mass number and similar chemical properties.”

Example: \[\ce{^35_17Cl}\] and \[\ce{^37_17Cl}\] are the isotopes of chlorine
\[\ce{\underset{\text{Protium}}{^1_1H,}  \underset{\text{Deuterium}}{^2_1H,}  \underset{\text{Tritium}}{^3_1H}}\] are isotopes of element hydrogen.
