1. The living and non-living components of the environment, like animals and trees, air, water, etc., are natural resources. It is our duty to protect the resources of our country.
2. It is important to maintain a balance between these natural components to maintain a stable environment. Even if we take into account one component, that is air, citizens can do many things to protect it. As trees maintain the balance between the different components of air, like oxygen and carbon dioxide, citizens can run campaigns for conserving trees around them and also for planting new trees in their surroundings.
3. A moderate and considerate use of natural resources will also help to conserve the environment.
4. Example:
   1. Instead of using a four-wheeler to go to nearby places, one may opt for a bicycle and prevent air pollution.
   2. Carpooling (sharing the ride with friends and co-workers) is another option to reduce the consumption of fuel and reduce air pollution.
