Draw a labelled ray diagram to show the formation of a rainbow.
उत्तर
The rainbow is a natural phenomenon in which white sunlight splits into beautiful colors by water droplets, which remain suspended in the air after the rain. It appears as a circular arc of various hues, with violet on the inside and red on the outside. Only when the sun is behind the observer and the rain is in front of the observer can a rainbow be seen. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet are the seven colours that make up the rainbow, and they are arranged from the outer to the inner edge.
