Write a brief note on how our Constitution is framed?

A Constituent Assembly was set up in 1946 to frame the Constitution. The Assembly consisted of 389 members, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, as the president, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chairman of the drafting committee. The Assembly worked through various committees and finally completed the draft. It was adopted on November 26^th, 1949. Came into force on 26^th January 1950.
