प्रश्न
Write a note on the aldol condensation reaction of acetaldehyde.
उत्तर
The aldol condensation reaction of Acetaldehyde:
When acetaldehyde combines with dilute NaOH, it produces aldol (3-hydroxybutanal). When heated, the aldol produced removes the water molecule, yielding But-2 - enal.
