  7. Tamil Nadu stands second in the area and production of coffee next to Karnataka.
  8. Rubber plantations are significant in Kanyakumari.
  9. Pepper is confined to the warm and wet slopes of the Eastern and Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu
  10. Cashew is extensively cultivated in the Cuddalore district.
  11. Cinchona is planted at heights varying from 1060 to 1280 meters in Anaimalai hills.
  12. Cardamom estates are located at few places in the hills of the Madurai region at an elevation of 915 to 1525 meters.
