प्रश्न
Write a short note on Warming-up exercises.
उत्तर
The process of warming up involves getting the body into a state where it can react to a person's nerve impulses safely, enabling rapid and effective action. Warming up is a crucial aspect of stretching and getting ready for physical activity or performance. It is typically done before a practice or performance. Light exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming, stationary bike riding, skipping, or easy aerobics should be included in the general warm-up. The general warmup's intensity and duration, or how hard and long it is, should be determined by the athlete taking part in the exercise. Warming up is done to raise body temperature, especially in the muscles and core, in order to prevent injury.
Warm muscles produce energy at a faster rate, which sharpens reflexes and shortens muscle contraction times. Additionally, a proper warm-up should improve the range of motion and psychologically prepare the person for exercise.
