The Manager
Capital Electronics
Delhi.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Faulty Television Set Purchased.
Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the recent television purchase from Capital Electronics. I purchased the TV on 15th December, and unfortunately, after only a month of usage, the unit has developed significant issues that hinder its functionality.
The problems I am facing with the television are as follows:
The volume cannot be adjusted: Despite multiple attempts to adjust the volume using both the remote and the control panel on the television, there is no response from the device. As a result, the audio remains at a constant and inconveniently loud level, making it almost impossible to enjoy watching anything without causing disturbance to others.
Screen going dark: While watching any content, the screen intermittently goes dark, leaving us unable to view the visuals. This unexpected behavior is disruptive and spoils the entire viewing experience.
Considering that these issues have arisen within the warranty period, I kindly request that you take prompt action to resolve the situation. I urge Capital Electronics to send a skilled technician to assess and repair the television at the earliest convenience. I believe that a professional inspection is necessary to diagnose the root cause of the problems and implement the required repairs.
Suppose the technician determines that the issues are irreparable or that the cost of repair would be excessively high. In that case, I request a replacement of the television with a new and fully functional unit. It is my understanding that under the terms of the warranty, such replacements are possible when defects arise within the specified warranty period.
In order to facilitate the resolution process, I have enclosed a copy of the purchase receipt and the warranty details with this letter. Please find the necessary details in the attachment.
I look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Rita
