CISCE Board Exam
The CISCE Board of School's educational system holds two major exams each year for classes 10 and 12:
- The Class 10 ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)
- ISC (Class 11 and 12) stands for Indian School Certificate.
- Year 12 Vocational Education Certificate
ICSE stands for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education.
According to the New Education Policy of 1986, the ICSE exam is a general education course taught in English. Private candidates, however, are not allowed to take this exam. Because the ICSE is concerned with a student's complete development, it offers all students a balanced curriculum.
ISC stands for Indian School Certificate.
The Indian School Certificate for Class 12 is administered by the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Council, a national board of school education in India. The ISC curriculum aims to enhance students' speech and writing abilities and in-depth understanding of numerous ideas, focusing on their growth.
Year 12 Vocational Education Certificate
Through the Joint Council of Vocational Education (JCVE), which was established by the National Policy of Education in 1986, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) made recommendations that led to the development of the Certificate of Vocational Education Examination (CVE-12). Candidates may sit for this test after completing a two-year programme of English-medium courses beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination.
CISCE Board Exam Pattern
Exams for Class 10 are broken up into three divisions by the ICSE. Group 1 has a list of required subjects that students in Class 10 must take. Students in Group 3 had a choice of one course, while those in Group 2 could choose from any of the two available subjects. According to the class 10 exam pattern, 80% of the scores for Group 1 and Group 2 topics come from external tests, while 20% come from internal exams. For Group 3 subjects, however, there is a 50/50 split between marks from external and internal examinations.
Pupils must receive 33% for ICSE, while 35% is the cut-off for ISC pupils.
Aspirants of Thai nationality will be required to take ICSE: Group I History, Civics, and Geography (Thailand); however, others may choose to do the same. Either history civics and geography or history civics and geography (Thailand) will be offered to the pupils.
