Invoking a Method:

Normally calling a method requires creating an object of the class where the function belongs. A static method can also be used to do the same task. The main() function is static while the invoked function is considered non static. But while declaration of method, if we declare the function as static, then there is no need of creating an object and the function can be called directly.

Actual and Formal Parameters

The parameters that are used to receive the values from the caller statement is called former parameters. The parameters that are actually passed to the method are called actual parameters.
