उत्तर

C.P. of the furniture set = Rs.21000
Amount spent on transportation = Rs.500
Amount spent on repairing = Rs.4500
∴ Total C.P.
= Rs.21000 + Rs.500 + Rs.4500
= Rs.26000
Profit % = 20%
Now,
`"S.P."/"C.P." = 1 + "Profit"/(100)`

⇒ `"S.P."/(26000) = 1 + (20)/(100)`

⇒ `"S.P."/(26000) = (100 + 20)/(100)`

⇒ ⇒ S.P. = `(120)/(100) xx 26000`
= Rs.31200
∴ He must sell the furniture set at Rs.31200 to make a profit of 20%.
