दीर्घउत्तर

उत्तर

In Favor -

A professional degree is undeniably crucial for attaining success in life. While exceptions exist, the majority of individuals without inherited wealth or businesses rely on the knowledge and skills acquired through formal education. Specialized knowledge and skills obtained from higher education institutions are essential, evident in the high demand for programs like MBA.

In a globalized world, higher degrees equip individuals to meet global standards and compete effectively in the job market. Resumes without impressive qualifications often face rejection, and qualifications are a key criterion for selection. Professions such as doctors, engineers, and teachers heavily depend on qualifications, and high-standard tertiary education enriches individuals with both knowledge and practical skills.

The practical application of theories learned in prestigious institutions enhances productivity, value for companies, and societal respect. Higher qualifications also contribute to career stability, making life more secure. Additionally, advanced technologies in various fields require mastery, and certificates from universities and high-level training grounds serve as tickets to career advancement.

Against -

While a college degree is essential in many professions, it is not the sole determinant of success. Business acumen, interpersonal skills, market insight, and foresight are critical for success, especially in fields like entrepreneurship. Examples like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs demonstrate that innovative thinking and perseverance can lead to success without traditional degrees.

Similarly, icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, and Amitabh Bachchan achieved greatness in sports and entertainment through talent and hard work, not advanced degrees. In politics, statesmen may lack formal degrees but possess wisdom and political flair.

Social and emotional intelligence, along with life skills, are increasingly recognized as vital for success, and multinational companies value candidates with high levels of social intelligence. While specific professions may require degrees, success often hinges on a combination of skills, talent, and dedication.
