प्रश्न

A composite signal contains frequencies between 500 MHz and 1GHz. What is the bandwidth of a signal?

थोडक्यात उत्तर

उत्तर

Bandwidth is the difference between the maximum and
minimum frequency contained in the composite signals. Bandwidth is measured in Hertz (Hz). The bandwidth of a signal containing frequencies between 500 megahertz and 1 Gigahertz is 500 megahertz.

Bandwidth can be calculated by subtracting 500 megahertz from 1 gigahertz.

For that we need to convert 1 gigahertz into megahertz, 1 gigahertz is equal to 1000 megahertz.

The composite signal frequency is minimum = 500 megahertz.

The composite signal frequency is maximum = 1000 megahertz.

To calculate bandwidth we need to subtract 500 megahertz from 1000 megahertz i.e subtract the minimum frequency from the maximum frequency of a composite signal.

So, after subtracting the minimum frequency from the maximum frequency i.e 1000 - 500 megahertz = 500 megahertz.

The answer is 500 megahertz.
